TeleScheduler™ Care - New Release!
Technology Managers are pleased to announce the release of TeleScheduler™
Care Version 2.6.0. This latest version boasts a number of impressive
features, some of which are summarised below and then presented
in more detail, along with a complete list of new features.

Upgrading to TeleScheduler
Care Version 2.6.0
To upgrade, we will need to be able to gain access to your
main computer (where the TeleScheduler™ Care Database is running)
using our remote support and diagnostics tool (also used for
interactive online training). Please contact TeleScheduler™
Care Support to arrange a convenient date/ time for us to
upgrade your server. Our helpdesk number is 08450

NEW FEATURES
Care Worker Task Based Wizard
Staff holidays, short and long term sick leave, time off for
dependants and maternity leave, etc, can cause serious business
disruption. The new task based wizard has been specifically
developed to greatly reduce management time associated with
such tasks.
Example: If a member of staff calls in sick, the task based
wizard will allow the manager to quickly and efficiently re-assign
the Care Workers visits. A list of potential replacement Care
Workers will be presented along with the number of times they
have visited the service user. This enables managers to react
promptly to staffing problems while maintaining continuity
of care for the Service User.
N.B. - We have implemented new classifications for non-working
reasons and we would recommend clients configure their systems
accordingly.

Stream-lined Interface between TeleScheduler™
Care and eziTracker™
Technology Managers have developed an application which will
upload Care Worker and Service User information into eziTracker™,
the time and attendance verification system. This can run
as a one off, or as a scheduled task, to ensure that time
keeping records, in both applications, are kept up-to-date
at all times.

Direct Link from TeleScheduler™ Care
to Multimap.com
TeleScheduler™ Care will now provide a link to www.multimap.com,
the reputable internet based mapping service, from any postcode
reference featured within the system. This will allow you
to view detailed maps/ locations on screen and print them
off for hard copy reference, if necessary.

Hyperlinks
New hyperlinks from the visits screen will allow you to click
on a Care Worker or Service User to take you directly into
the respective maintenance screen for easy record maintenance.

Status Check Links
Hyperlinks in the status check screen now allow you to access/edit/resolve
any items highlighted in the status check.

Visit Screen Enhancements
We have made a number of small, but significant, enhancements
to the visit screen and these comprise of the following:
- Scroll positions are now held when editing
visits
- The system can be configured to open the
visit screen in one-day view, three-day view or one-week
view
- We have enhanced the availability picking
for the visit screen i.e. non available Care Workers will
not be selected
- Cancelled visits now release the assigned
Care Worker

Timesheets Enhancements
Scroll positions are now held when the user is editing timesheets.
The timesheet load time has also been greatly improved and
users can configure the system to have pre-defined time periods
on timesheet load.

List Sorting
Lists of Care Workers/Service Users are now sorted by surname
then first name. However, you also have the option to sort
lists by identity numbers, if preferred.

New Appearance
We are pleased to unveil the new, fresh look of TeleScheduler™
Care which sees a standardisation of all the feature icons
and brings the overall look and feel in line with Windows
XP.

Care Worker /Service User Compatibility
A new compatibility rating has been implemented which allows
you to create a zero compatibility match between a Care Worker
and the Service User, where appropriate. This guarantees that
the Care Worker will never be picked to visit a specific Service
User.

NEW PLUG-IN FEATURES
Infomap Postcode Look-up
This is a plug-in feature for managers who wish to have a
postcode look-up in TeleScheduler™ Care, and represents a
significant step towards generating accurate mileage calculations
on timesheets and enhancing the Auto-scheduling process to
take into account distance travelled.

Sage Payroll Plugin
We are pleased to offer a plug-in which links TeleScheduler™
Care directly to Sage Payroll, which:
- Maps TeleScheduler™ Care pay rates to Sage pay rates
- Maps TeleScheduler™ Care employees to Sage employees, or optionally upload new employee details into Sage Payroll
- Uploads confirmed timesheets into Sage to create a pay run
The Sage Payroll plug-in cuts out a large amount of manual work, unnecessary double entry and, providing the timesheets are accurate and up-to-date, will negate the risk of human error. Trials show that based on an average sized agency, as much as 3-4 days per month could be saved by using the Sage Payroll plug-in.
