Managers Endorsed by the Bank of Scotland and Scottish Enterprise

Technology Mangers, the Aberdeen-based software development
and services company announced that they have recently secured
a £250k investment from Scottish Enterprise's Business Growth
Fund and The Bank of Scotland.
This funding reinforces the investor's confidence in the management
team at Technology Managers and signifies a major milestone
in the company's long term strategy.
Their flagship product Telescheduler™ Care is a fully integrated
management system which has been developed in response to the
Government's health care strategy to reduce hospital bed-blocking
and associated costs. Telescheduler Care is targeted at the
long term care sector, which comprises of local authorities,
housing associations, charities and private care agencies.
Martin Slowey, Managing Director explains: "The government care
initiatives have placed an increasing reliance on the long-term
care sector. In 2002, three million hours of care per week were
delivered to people in their homes in England alone, and the
market has almost doubled within the past ten years ".
With five times more people receiving care in their own homes
than those receiving care in residential and nursing homes combined,
the UK Home Care Association anticipate that this trend is set
to continue and predict that it will grow five-fold in the next
five years.
With such sustainable growth opportunities, Technology Managers
intend to use the funding to build upon their successes to date
within the long-term care sector and continue to invest in the
development and strategic marketing of Telescheduler™ Care.
Furthermore, the funding will create five key positions to complement
their existing team at their Aberdeen headquarters by the end
of the year. This will also allow the company to pursue strategic
partnerships with commercial and research organisations.
